Blasting Off

We have had a GREAT week! Below you will see a few pictures from our math relay. The kids have done a fantastic job. Ask them about what we did. Also, you will see another lab we did with water. The challenge was to see how fast each team could get water out of a bottle without squeezing it. They can tell you how their team solved it. We also found the mean, median, mode, and range for our groups of numbers.

Also below you will see that we are "blasting off" with our space camp adventure and we are EXCITED!!! We had an overwhelming response, thus we will now be taking a charter bus. If you are still interested, please email me at jdaftari@hotmail.com and I can give you more details.

I would also like to acknowledge one of my students from last year, Kaitlyn Barnes. She won the NATIONAL Popular Science Young Inventors Challenge with her invention, "Let's Talk." This year we will enter this competition again. Details will follow later. Have a great weekend! This has been a super first nine weeks. Have a great fall break October 21-22nd!
