Yesterday we got to weigh things. Today we got to play in water! The kids did a great job of predicting volume and then accurately measuring the volume in milliliters. Next week we will be doing more water labs. For one we will be doing in the near future we will need a multi-pack of modeling clay. Thanks so much for sending the Lifesavers! We have enough for that lab. Also, thanks for the glow sticks. We could use some more of various colors.
I would also like to give a BIG "THANK YOU" to our Jay PTO for making it possible for us to have the Mobile Science/Math Museum come to us on October 27th. The kids will LOVE this opportunity where they will get to experiment with pulleys, magnetism, gears, and even go through an obstacle course. I am blessed to live in a community where education is made a priority!
