Our dream of having a tree house is now a reality! We just had our ribbon cutting with the Jay Chamber of Commerce so the tree house is officially open to the public! We would like to thank Becki Farley, Arvest President, who helped organize the ribbon cutting and is also serving as sponsor to our tree house. In addition we'd like to thank our Jay Chamber, Representative Doug Cox, Cherokee Nation Tribal Council Member Harley Buzzard, Joe Graham, Dylan Graham, Melani Graham, Outdoor Classroom Staff (Jeff Orr, Cindi Collins, and Cindy Sloan), Mr. Thomas, Mrs. Osburn, and Mrs. Shero for taking the time to attend our ribbon cutting! I am SO proud of ALL my students for working hard to get this mission accomplished! We would like to extend a SPECIAL "thank you" to Joe Graham and his construction crew for an outstanding job! Also, thanks to Tess Graham for serving as Project Manager. She made sure everything was on schedule and running smoothly. We will continue to add more things to the tree house next fall. We look forward to many fun times in the tree house together!
