Cell Cookie Lab

 Today was a YUMMY lab!!  We made models of the cell using food.  After constructing them, the kids had to name each organelle in the plant and animal cell.  How cool is that to do your lab and then eat it?!

Everyone loves an edible lab day! We estimated, measured, figured mode and range for groups of numbers, and learned the parts of the animal and plant cells. After we built models of the cells, the best part was eating them!
