GREAT NEWS:
Our first balloon has been found!
Mrs. Miekley wrote us today saying that her husband found Corey's balloon on their farm near Exeter, MO. She said the ribbon and note were in good shape, but the balloon was pretty shredded.
After googling that location, we found the balloon traveled approximately 72 miles to get there! Another neat fact is that Mrs. Miekley is a 5th grade teacher in Cassville, thus she and her students want to do this project as well.
We will keep you posted with more balloon sightings.
