We tested the densities of various soaps to see which ones sink and which float. First we made our hypotheses, then we tested, and lastly we recorded the results. We found that 7 of the 8 soaps sank. These included Dial, Coast, Lever 2000, Softsoap, Lye Soap, Dove- Men+Care, and Dove. The soap that floated was Ivory! Ask your child about why it floats. Also, ask them about the other neat thing that Ivory soap does!
